A fatal mistake.

I sent the Trustee application to BU today, and with it, I also sent a resume and a CD of a piano performance.
BUT
I noticed that there were several typos—And I’ve excluded some stuff that i remembered later.

And on the piano section I wrote “Piano since age of four; private lessons since 1992” when in fact, I started in 1991 (the age I would have been four).

OMG I am so screwed if they catch such stupid mistakes.
There goes any chances I had for the Trustees!
:frowning:

That's why you proof read.

unfortunate, hopefully the music teacher is not too good at math. ;)

Don't Panic. Call and tell them that you are sending an amended app.to replace the one they have with additional info. You might even ask them for their advice on the best way to ensure that the updated one makes it into the file. Make sure you label it clearly. Updated draft and the date. Then fax, e-mail or send overnight mail with a signature request receipt. That way you know it has arrived even if only the mail room clerk signs it. Ad coms are human too. So relax, don't torture yourself.

I wouldn't call any of that fatal. Relax.
