A Few Common App questions

When filling out the common app athletics section, if I plan on doing something senior year do I check 12??

Also instead of the activities is it a good idea to add your resume, or add a resume and the activities section??

I may have more as I continue to fill it out but this is it so far.

Yes.

No, definitely not. The Activities section of the Common App is where you list the things you’re MOST PASSIONATE about. Nobody is super dedicated to over 10 activities, so if you add a resume to your application, it looks forced and silly, and now adcoms have to read even more (which is certainly frustrating for them).

So either resume or activities? Not both right?

Just list your activities. There’s no need to attach a resume. Unless you’ve done something extraordinary you feel really adds to your character, it’s just an annoyance for admissions officers.

I think I have, I created my own web design company, and I have taught myself multiple computer and natural languages. There isn’t room for the languages, and I would like to elaborate on the web design which they have gotten rid of in the CA4.

^Then write about it in the Additional Info section or in a supplemental essay.

There is a pretty short limit in the additional info section

I thought there was no limit in additional info? It doesn’t mention a word count.

Try typing. It isn’t unlimited

Bumpppppppppp
