A few days left

Good luck everyone!

Wow. There's a forum now for us. It's all feeling really real all of a sudden.

Best of luck to everyone!

this board's presence reminds me of the basket brought in to catch the head after someone was guillotined during the French Revolution...

btw the 2009 board has been silent for ages. maybe after this is done everyone will flee CC as well?

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b206/harakiri444/CUSTOMGUILLOTINELU328702.jpg

how enterprising of you.

I don't like this being here. Its like the powers that run CC know more than we do....

So, ON or AROUND the 15th...do you guys think they'll email us the link on the 15th? I sure hope so, I'm ready to find out.

I'm trying not to think of it being this close, but every once in a while throughout the day 'pop' the thought returns to my brain.

I've given up trying to put this out of my mind. Everyone keeps asking me about it. I'm kind of regreting having told anyone at school because I know some of them just want to see me rejected. And it'll be horrible if I don't get in.

All I know is come Thursday I'll either be extremely happy or horribly depressed.

From a Columbia EDer Class of 2010, I just wanted to wish all Stanford EDers good luck. Some of my friends applied to Stanford ED, so let's all hope you guys get in!

As a simple observation...the first 4, and possibly the first 5 applicants (do we know about Ashveer yet?) who posted on this first thread in the Stanford 2010 board before the decisions came out all got deferred/rejected. Stanford conspiracy or coincidence?
Maybe this will inspire even more suspicions in the process haha.
I know this may be interpreted as rude, or spiteful or something like that but, it's none of the above, I honestly love you all and see my post on Wolffy's thread for my real thoughts on the deferred/reject issue (one of my best friends was).
BTW, if I am wrong on this correct me, its just what I remember from reading the main thread. Anyways, just a crazy coincidence I noticed.

i think that means Stanford sends out the rejection/deferral letters first, because this girl i know got rejected at 6:00 PST and I got accepted at 6:20. Good things to those who wait!

Yeah, they sent out rejections first.

I got REJECTED at 4:54.

I took it so well. I am quite proud of myself. Very proud in fact. I'm going to be a damn good anthropologist, and when I do something that makes my university proud, I am going to send Stanford a letter that says "YEEEEEAAAAAAAH! IN YOUR ****ING FACE!!!"

Hehe, I'm totally fine. Congrats to all of you guys who have gotten in. In one way or another, you completley deserve it.

Just for those interested, I go to an ultra-competitive IB school.
Student students numbers 1,3, got deffered, number 4 got rejected. 2 others got in, and 5 others got rejected, and 1 more got deffered. Its the same story for a lot of other universities, and we usually have a 75% acceptance rate for earlies. I think it truly shows what's going on..........

On my way to india now, I should check in a few days time. Good luck everyone, and enjoy the BREAK!!!
