So FSU is my dream school, and it has been since last year. I finally got my act together last year and started doing my best at school. I was not able to take any AP's during my junior year but I am taking 5 AP's this year.

I've only taken my SAT once and I got a 1610; however, I didn't even prepare for it so it was just a trial run. Tomorrow I take my ACT's, just to see what I get, ...and if I do end up getting lucky then that's great.

So I've decided to apply early. It's really confusing me because I know they will see my initial 1610 score first. But I know I will beat it the second time around, but since my grades in school aren't that amazing, I may get rejected.

So, say I get rejected applying early. When can I apply next? Is it still possible for me to apply on regular time? or do I have to wait till next year?

There’s really no early or regular application deadline. There’s just the December decision date and the March decision date- and FSU seriously suggests that you apply for the December decision date.

Your best bet is to apply for Fall for the December decision date. If you don’t meet the Fall cutoff for acceptance, you’ll be considered for summer. If you’re still borderline, you’ll likely be waitlisted until the March decision date, and FSU will likely ask for your first semester transcripts and maybe for updated test scores or something.

FSU is pretty good about not out-right rejecting too many people in the first decision group. They generally will try to help you gain acceptance, although obviously they can’t just let everyone in.

so basically if I get rejected for the December decision date, I’m automatically considered for the March decision date? And they will ask for updated scores and grades right?

I’ve also seen people say many times that the October SAT’s will be accepted for the early decision date, correct?
