A few questions about NYU

Can someone tell me more about the McGhee program? I'm 24 so I'm positive I will be considered as a mature student if I apply. Are the tuition fees less for a McGhee student than for other students? I'm also an international. Could you still apply to other schools such as Tisch or are you limited to one specific school?

The tuition is relatively inexpensive. It's NYU, I'd expected it to be something like 20,000 or something.

ESTIMATED COST OF ATTENDANCE
2007—2008 Budget for Full-time McGhee Student
(Based on one semester of full time study–12 credits*)

Tuition and Registration Fees: $10,542
Room and Board: $5,925
Books and Supplies: $500
Other Expenses: $1,000
Estimated Expenses: $17,967

*Most courses at the McGhee Division are 4 credits
+Health Insurance is not included in the projected costs.

How does NYU compare with the other NY universities, especially Columbia? I only know that at Columbia you have no choice but to satisfy an inflexible core curriculum.

I know NYU is notoriously bad with financial aid... so as an international, what options are available to me if I need help with paying for school at NYU?
