I'll be attending Session 104 (July 22-25) and I have a couple questions because I just got back from a 3-week vacation a few days ago and I am really in disarray...

What do they mean when they asked for "All official records you have received from UCLA, including this confirmation?" I mean, does anybody have a general list of "official records" that we have to bring? I don't want to forget something that might be important for orientation...

I live in California, but LA is still quite a few hours away from where I am, so I decided to sign up for the night-before-orientation arrival accomodation. Problem is, I don't remember where my accomodation is. Is it at UCLA? If so, where do I check-in for the night? Does anyone know?

I think that's it, helpful responses will be well appreciated!

I can't say anything for your second question, but to answer your first one, you honestly don't need to bring ANYTHING. No transcripts, no admission letters, no orientation confirmations page, nothing.

If you think something weird is going to happen to you (i.e. they don't have you on their list for this orientation or something), then I guess it wouldn't hurt to have proof or whatnot. But again, nothing needed.

Yeah documentation isn't needed but bring it just in case. Especially if you took summer classes at community college, you'll need those transcripts if you have them.

As for arriving a night earlier, I didn't do it but my friends from orientation did. You'll be in the same dorms as the next day (Rieber Terrace) so just go near the dorms and there will be signs pointing you towards check-in.

Adding to the answer to the second question, they'll charge you for the extra night's stay. I don't remember how much though.

i wuz in 104 last year...brings back memories...that scavenger hunt was horrible...my team was dumb as hell....
