Hello,

I have less than good GPA in university, mostly due to the fact that for the past few semesters my dad had cancer and I lived at home. I had to watch as my dad slowly died. Now I am watching as my mom may or may not have cervical cancer, her struggle with her being sick. Normally most people would just go, whatever. The woman just lost her husband to cancer and may have it herself. I am not about to abandon her.

As of right now, I have less than a 2.0 GPA. I have been placed on academic probation and I have a feeling that is about to turn into academic suspension, because my semester GPA will five to one be less than a 2.0.

I am trying to go from a university, back to a community college, so I can get my stuff together, so I can transfer back to a university. My question is, what happens to all the 300 level classes that I have taken and passed? What about FinAid, will I still qualify at the community college? I have already sent an email to the FinAid dept of the community college, but I still like some input about how not to lose it.

Can I get an AA, then transfer, I already have 57 credits (some are at the 300 level). So that way the suspension does not come back and bite me in the backside.

I know that I should be asking the admissions people at the community college and I have emailed them. It is the weekend and I am kinda worried about everything. I am trying really hard to make sure that everything does not fall apart.

Thanks for any help.
