okay, so i've been accepted to deerfield but waitlisted at exeter. while im thrilled that neither schools rejected me and that i have a chance to attend this incredible school, i still am unsure about a few things.

i am a freshman this year, so i will be entering next fall as a sophomore. how hard will it be to catch up? while my school is one of the best in the state, it is still a public school. Will my grades (at least for the first term) be drastically lower than someone who attended since the beginning?

how welcoming are the kids? i'm scared that I'll be alone and won't be able to make friends.

do boarding schools (deerfield and exeter, in my case) certainly have better college placcement than a public school in wisconsin? while i may get a better education in deerfield, wisconsin is less competitve and it IS in the midwest, giving me an advantage in colleges, right? oh, Im looking into harvard, yale, stanford, and a few other places.

how big is the exeter waitlist? how likely is it that i'll get off of it? i'm was an applicant for tenth grade, and i am a girl.

i guess im not even sure if going to a boarding school is a righ thting for me or not...
