A few questions...

So here is what I plan on taking in Fall '13 and when I'm planning to pick them:

Phase I (April 10th)
Econ 119
Econ 136

Phase II (July 11th)/u
Statistics 133
History 162A
Computer Science 61B
Classics 10A

My first question is whether I should phase I the econ classes (which I need for my major) or whether I should pick Stats 133 (which seems to fill up fast) and put off picking one of the econ classes until phase II.

Next, does anyone know how fast History 162A fills up, and is there any chance of it being open in phase II?

Finally, since I've heard Hilfiger is a draconian grader, would it be reasonable to take both CS61B and CS61C at the same time (in the Spring)? Or should I just suck it up and brave 61B in the fall?

Thanks. Any advice is welcome.

Are you a stat major? If not, better phase I Stat 133. It fills up really quickly.
If you are already an Econ major, you can phase II either Econ 119 or Econ 136. You may not get into the section you prefer, but can definitely be enrolled into the class.

Nope, just economics. So you think Econ 136 or 119 will still have spaces in phase 2?

Also, does anyone know anything about Vazirani for CS 70? A friend suggested taking 70 in the fall and 61B/C in the Spring.
