If you are recruited for a DIII school for a sport (example: WUSTL), there is no obligation to actually play, right? Once they “help” you get admitted, if they aren’t giving you any scholarship money, there’s nothing keeping you from deciding that maybe the workload is too much and playing a sport would be too much?

(I’m not saying I would do this to get admitted and then bail. I’m just wondering if it is not common for this to happen or something. I actually don’t even play a sport, just wondering for a friend who does).

I took the September ACT and got a 34. I’m already signed up for the October 28th ACT (hoping for a 35 or 36). This means I won’t know how I did until after EA deadlines. Should I just send my 34 now and then update my file with a new score later? Can I do this? Will they actually update my file and take it into consideration? The ACT has score choice so you only send one test date at a time. I just don’t want to risk doing worse and sending that score automatically.

Thanks!
