*Want to major in either Economics, Math, Physics, but then go on to med school.

I’d really like to do a major in either economics or chemical engineering or something, but I know I can’t get into those schools from high school. So my question is, how hard is it to transfer from one school to another at CMU?

If I do do a chemical engineering major, will that class be extremely cutthroat? According to my past research on the school, CMU isn’t supposed to be cutthroat for premed, but what about other schools that aren’t filled with premeds
