A few questions...

Hello. I am a current junior, looking forward for EA next year.
Currently, I have focused on taking SAT IIs and APs;
SAT II Math IIC 800 (2003, 11)
SAT II Physics 800 (2004, 5)
SAT II Chemistry 800 (2004, 10)
SAT II Writing 710 (2004, 10)

AP Chemistry 4 (2003)
AP Micro Economics 4 (2003)
AP Calculus BC 5 (2003)
AP Statistics 4 (2004)
AP Physics C Mechanics 5 (2004)
AP Physics C ElectroMagnetics 4 (2004)

I am currently fully engaged in an IB full diploma.
Do you recommend re-taking any of these tests?

I am planning to reprepare and retake Chemistry and Micro/Macro in 2005,
and an extra two subjects (Human Geography and Biology)
All the APs I took were either independent studies
(cause the school couldn't provide teachers) or self prepared.
I would be grateful for any kind of suggestion.

Assuming that my ECs are relatively strong, what range of SAT I scores would I need to assure my self that I would have a high possibility in EA?

id say you need to be between 1500 and 1600

oh wait...you are taking the new SAT...then id say between 2250 and 2400

thanks run4fun!

Your academics look really strong. There's really no reason to retake those tests though...a 4 is good too, especially if you were a sophomore when you took them. With good EC's and essays, you should have a great chance!

I agree with StressedOutSenior, I'd say u'd get in RD too, with those stats?? u r almost as good as a Harvard admittant.

Thanx everyone for your help.
Hm.. Newby, than would I not have a good chance with current scores (assuming that I have a SAT I of over 1520) in ED?
Just out of curiosity. :D

Yoy don't need to retake any tests, but you will have to take the new SAT, which, I am sure, will not be a problem for you.
