A few questions

If my teachers and school send the transcript and recommendations before I submit my application online will it be fine?

Can the mid-year grades be included in my single transcript?

There needs to be two different recommendations with the forms? One with mid year report and the other with the secondary school report?!

Do I need to submit the International School report supplement even when everything asked there is explained in my transcript?

I also like to know the answers to your question, ajayc. Bump.

Yes, it will be fine. Schools open your file when they begin to get stuff. However, if you change your mind about applying, it would be polite to let the school know.

Mid-year grades are sent at mid-year, usually after the application is due. Your initial application should include transcript to this point.

Not sure, but usually this means that the two recommendations are from two different teachers, not at two different times.

Don't know anything about the International School report supplement.

You have to send your transcript before mid-year grades come out, then send mid-years when available. And then you need to send your final transcript & proof of graduation at the end of the year to the school you've decided to attend.

If you're talking about the guidance counselor form, generally yes, there needs to be a form with the initial transcript & school report, and then a form with the midyears. Your guidance counselor should know how to do this.

If there is a form that applies to you, yes, you need to fill it out even if it's all explained in your transcript. Colleges don't want to go searching for the information they need. And they'll simply assume your application is incomplete. You're better off filing a form you don't need than not filing one you do.

My mid year exams are already over.So I think the grades would be included in the single transcript? And there is only 1 principal in our school so why would he write two different recs. for the same person? I really dont understand.

It's not the grades on the mid year exams; it's your first semester grades that they're talking about. If your first semester is already over, and you have your first semester grades, then yes, they'd probably be included, but that depends on your school.

The forms for your principal are not two "different recs." One is your primary recommendation, and the other is an update - has anything changed between October and February? If not, he doesn't have to do much with the mid-year report form.

oh crap I didn't read that form correctly. Thank You Chedva :)

Cheers!
Ajay
PS: Are you a prospective Class of 2012 too?
