A Forum Site Dedicated to HOmeschoolers

www.homeschoolspot.com

i made an account- my id is prepkid.
there are not THAT many people, though. most of them, if not all, are parents. thought it would be a good idea to share it.

There are also a number of Yahoo groups devoted to homeschooling and some bulletin boards about.

Also gonna point out a site called www.homeschoolalumni.org. Nearly 700 former homeschoolers on there. Check it out

Is this a site for graduates or are there former homeschooling parents on there too? I'll have to pass this on to my daughter ...

It is primarily for those who actually were homeschooled (so the graduates).

Parents are free to "lurk" and read the topics there but the administrators want to limit the membership to those who have graduated or soon will and were homeschooled. If a parent wishes to contribute they are free to write articles to post on the site (contact the Admin) and can suggest topics for discussion. There has been an exception or two to the policy on parents as members. The admin goes into more detail about his reasons if you try and sign up. If/when your daughter joins tell her to look up "J & :P" (Me) or just say hello in the foyer.
