Oh my gosh. I didn’t even think I would get this far. In a peculiar way, I really hope I don’t get into anymore schools on Ivy Day. I’m already faced with such tough choices. Its crazy. How good is Stanford’s undergrad anyway? Now I guess I have to do some research on it now that I may be going there.

Go to the school you like the most and when you get fin aid packages you may be able to squeeze extra money out of your favorite if they aren’t your top choice.
Appeal for a clothing budget if you don’t live in a very cold part of the country and need stuff for the snow. Tell them that the cheapest college offered you this package and coa is lower.
For you, and most kids with lower finances, I am sure this would be able to get you at least 2,000 more.

SO after months of sweating and anxiety, these are my final results:
ACCEPTED: Stanford, Yale, Emory, Duke, Brown, Cornell, Williams, University of South Carolina, Clemson.
REJECTED: Dartmouth, Columbia, Amherst (sad emoji), Vanderbilt, and Yale NUS.
I’m going to post a final results thread and post in the college selections forum probably. Anything else you guys suggest?
Keep updating this thread with your decision process - which school you cut first and why, then when it gets tough which are the remaining schools and why they’re still on your list and how to distinguish… perhaps fly ins/admitted student day reports…
