A-G Art Requirement

Hello Guys :slight_smile:

As you probably already know, A-G requires 1 year of visual arts/performing arts. I have already taken 1 semester of visual art, and 1 semester of theatre arts, which adds up to 1 year. Does this count as my art requirement, or do I have to take 1 year of just visual arts or 1 year of just performing arts?

Subject requirement (A-G) | UC Admissions says (emphasis added) “One yearlong course of visual and performing arts chosen from the following disciplines: dance, music, theater, visual arts or interdisciplinary arts — or two one-semester courses from the same discipline is also acceptable.”
