I’m meeting most of my A-G req except 10th grade Honors English 10A. I goofed a bit and got a D but bumped it back to a B the following semester. I’m not eligible for applying to any of the calstates because of that. Do I have take a class to make that up in a community college during my first two years to transfer to a Calstate/UC? I don’t plan on going to adult school this senior year.

You need to retake the 1st semester of Honors English 10A if you want to meet the CSU/UC requirements.

Are you saying you are a Senior and will not be able to retake that semester by year’s end or you choose not to retake the course at your local community college?

If you plan to go to a Community college then transfer, you will take the required English courses for transfer. As a CSU/UC transfer, HS grades and courses will not be considered.
