Hello, as a senior applying for CSUs, I have something bothering me. During my sophomore year, I received a D in my 1st and 2nd semester of Mandarin 1/2. The following year, I received a B in both semesters in Mandarin 3/4, which is harder than 1/2. Now, does this really affect me? Help me because this is the only class that is making me paranoid.

The D grades will count for your CSU/UC GPA.

However, the B grades in the level 2 courses mean that you have two years of language other than English for a-g purposes. This is due to the policy of validating lower levels of language other than English with higher level courses.
