Is there a lot of flexibility on what course do and don't count towards certain requirements (i.e. visual + performing arts)?

pacific_fleet, what do you mean flexibility?
restate your question and perhaps i can help you. :)

will they accept things such as web design and Independent Study: Tech?

no they wont

are those 2 courses part of the list? if so, then you're good.

if not, i wouldn't be too sure... i think they're looking for the official courses that they gave out ya know? i would double check with your guidance counselor to make sure. i wouldn't want to get involved with anything and find out later that it didn't suit the requirement.

This is odd because of collegeboard.com, it didn't list V&P arts as a requirement so I thought I didn't need to take it.

http://apps.collegeboard.com/search/CollegeDetail.jsp?collegeId=991&profileId=1
doesn't UC supply the collegeboard with this info, and if that is the case why did they give the wrong info?

that is very bad on their part.

i noticed that it did list "elective- 1 year" as a requirement and perhaps they assumed that people knew that elective meant visual arts...

i hope everything works out for you... is it going to be hard to add in the VA class?
