A-g

for the berkeley app, do you fill only enough coursework that completes the a-g requirements, or all of your coursework that comes under the a-g categories?

All A-G course are listed in the A-G section. Other courses are listed further down in the application. The number of A-G courses an applicant has taken beyond the required minimum is taken into consideration by admissions (more=better), so include all of them in the proper section. Good luck.

i don't have the one visual/ performing arts requirement as i am from an Indian high school and we don't have a performing arts subject choice.
will that be okay?>??

^^ Generally, UC is strict on the requirements -- many OOSers who didn't have the arts requirement are rejected or discouraged from applying because of that. You should probably note why you didn't have it.

They are requirements. They suggest getting your a-g requirements done at a college if you don't have them.

Otherwise you can attempt to gain entrance by examination or exception.

what exactly fits into the visual/performing arts category??
i had studied information technology( fancy name for computer studies)
-where will this go??? in college prep electives??

That's college prep elective.

Well, it may or may not be a college prep elective. There are some electives that are not considered "college prep."

At my school AP Computer Sciences A counts under the G requirement, if I recall correctly.

Do they automatically count the number of A-G semester courses beyond the required minium from the list that students enter?

Computer studies is college prep.
