I'm doing the commonapp essay on a moral dilemma and it asks me to describe its effect on me.

In my essay I've only talked about the dilemma itself and my thinking process as I reached my choice.. do you think that's enough?

Any more would be superfluous because I think I've described it well enough, I don't really know what they mean by the effect on me.. should I write a generic paragraph describing my theme (tolerance in this case) or leave it as it is? (If it were just a random piece of writing I would have left it as it is, but I don't know whether college essays should be 'clearer' and more explanatory?)

Thanks!
