Here comes a general question.
I have learned from this forum that the most significant factors of UC transfer chance are GPA(so many 4.0...sigh) and the completion and performance of the prerequisite courses.
Could you please tell me what kind of prerequisites will be taken into consideration, major prerequisites or college requirement inclusive (e.g. reading & composistion in collge of L&S)? Will my chance hurt if I have not completed a breadth requirement even though the similar course if not offered in my university? Thanks.

major pre-reqs are the big thing, and naturally your english&math reqs.

if the course isn’t offered at your university, you may want to consider somewhere else that DOES offer the course; it just, in general, shows that you took that extra step despite the obstacle.

I would look for another school that has what you need if you’re serious about transfering to a UC. Regardless of whether you go to another school or not, mention you’re situation in the addition comment section of the application. That always helps. Best of luck.
