A good impression

I am an international student who recently visited one of America's very prestigious schools. Whilst there, I was introduced (through a contact) to the admissions officer for my particular area. We spoke for a while, and then he gave me his e-mail address, saying that if I have any questions I should just drop him a line. I would like to make use of this offer, and in doing so establish myself in his mind as a thoughtful person who asks pertinent questions. What sort of queries do you think would make a good impression on an admissions officer??? This guy will be judging my application in 7 months so I would like it if he saw my name and it rang a bell.

bump... any suggestions???

the sorts of questions IMO that will make a good impression are questions that aren't a waste of the adcoms time. Questions that can't be answered by looking around the schools website.
By focusing the question on something that is specifically applicable to your situation and the school, that shows more thought- rather than just asking things in an effort to stimulate a dialog so that your name gets remembered

Don't think of questions that will impress an adcom, think of questions that are of real concern to you.
