What's a good school on the level of say, Syracuse U, that has gothic architecture and is almost void of modern architecture? I really like Northeastern but I'm not too fond of the modern architecture.

Is Tulane okay or is too far down the echelon?

How about Rhodes in Memphis?

princeton...

U of Chicago is really gothic-y, but it's not really a good match for anyone. On the other hand, its not as difficult to get into as princeton.

Since you specified a school in the same range as Syracuse in terms of selectivity, check out Loyola College of Maryland and Goucher outside of Baltimore. Although Goucher isn't gothic per say, it does have a very unified look to its architecture that gives the campus that kind of English feel.

LOL

villanova, its really a neautiful campus

RHODES COLLEGE IN MEMPHIS. Boston College, also.

What do you mean UChicago isn't really a good match for anyone? I totally know people who chose it as their first choice.
