A GPA jump

How screwed are you if you're GPA jumps from a 3.8 to a 3.1 in a course of one semester (:(() Is there any hope towards still getting into the top 25?

(Note: this is Junior Year)

:(

say bye bye to harvard, sucker! mwahahahaha!

lol jk...to be honest i dont really know. If its just one course, that aint too bad though, right?

yeah, thanks for that

If you have a good reason for it, it's possible to make it.

do I state my reason on my application or something?

usually in an essay

wait...are you saying your cumulative gpa drops from 3.8 to 3.1?
you will definitely need good essays and recs and a sufficient "excuse"...
you might have a chance at a top 25...most likely not ivies...

no.. not cumulative... just my GPA from one semester to another.

WOW, how did that happen bdreamm? That's a HUGE jump.

Well, what your end of the year average? Some school, like mine, only send the end of year grades of a student.

only the cumulative gpa matters...

thank you lady:)
