What motivates people to change?

[quote]
In my life, the biggest motivator is people around me. When my family supports something, I usually do too. Family is said by some to be the best contributor to success. I concur with this assertion. The motivation from inside is categorically what changes you, because after all, you can be led to water but you cant be forced to drink it.
Changes occur in many different ways but the one of the most common things people want to change is their appearance. Everybody wants to look the best they can. We all have a sort of self-assessment inside us that causes this. Its something we cant get rid of, though some try.
Your family can be the best motivator for changing your appearance, especially in regards to weight concerns. If they see you eating fast food when youre supposed to be on a diet they can take it from you and tell you that youre doing it wrong. Family members can also go to the gym with you or go outside for a walk with you, these also build stronger bonds within your family.
Unwillingness to change can be detrimental to your self-esteem later on. A nice quote goes If you quit now, you quit everyday of your life I hold this true to many instances. If youve ever quit something, go back and finish it if you can so its off your shoulders. This can be a book, an exercise program, a diet, or other things that require dedication.
Motivators for change come in all shapes and sizes. Some people have no clue what made them change. Some remember a life-changing event like yesterday. Looking at a brick wall can make you want to change, maybe you remember how you used to throw baseballs against a brick wall when you were a kid and suddenly you feel the urge to play baseball again. You then pick up the baseball bat and change to become Barry Bonds.
