A Grammar Question and a request ?

Hi guys i just stumbled upon a question i don't really get:

1.Until recently most people (entering) policies (feel) that loss of privacy was (a fair price) to pay (for) the chance to participate in policy making. (No Error)
Answer Says "feel" is wrong..But why?

And i was wondering if any of you has a small list for the common idioms CB sometimes tries to trick students with. My problem is that i'm not good at idioms at all :0 thats why i keep getting 720's. I'm aiming for 800 this time hopefully....

because it says UNTIL recently, and then the rest should be in past tense. so it should be felt.

good luck!!! im at 600! – i need 720!!!

Exactly. If they felt that way “until recently,” then they no longer feel that way any more.

Thank you guys  it was sort of a tricky question xD… good luck jimmyjim… hope you reach your goal :)
