Lets say you were accepted by all of the schools(to the department of international relations/affairs/politics )noted below;which one would you choose and why?
(Tuition/location/campus life/ education quality/financial aid....etc. anything at all)

-George Mason Univ
-Emory Univ(GA)
-Macalester Coll(MN)
-Knox Coll(IL)
-Georgetown Univ(DC)
-George WashingtonUniv(DC)
-Princeton Uni
-Yale Univ(CT)
-Arkansas State Univ(AK)
-illinois coll(IL)
-Murray State Univ(KY)
-Old Dominion Univ(VA)
-Univ Virginia(VA)
-American Univ(DC)
-Coll. of William and Mary
-Lafayette Coll(PA)
-Seton Hall Univ(NJ)
-Lynn Univ(FL)
-U. of Maryland-College Park

Have you looked at the long thread about international relations departments?

Beyond that, it isn't up to others to say which school would be best for you. Read up on these schools (web sites, college books, places like studentsreview), visit them, and figure out your personal preferences. Is size important? Location? Particular extracurricular activities or sports?

there are other considerations, but on a stragiht up academc--which woudl you choose ..first you want to be in the greater DC area --for this major
so --or an Ivy.
George MAson, Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Old Dominion, Virginia, AMerican , Wm- MAry, Maryland ..so that is 9.

If you want more of a residential life, George MAson sort of washes out....I am not aware of Old Dominion as having much of a rep in this area,,, so I woudl cut them.

Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Virginia, AMerican , Wm- MAry, Maryland

Princeton and Yale are difficult to get into, but if you can get entry and have $... good options

There is litle doubt in my mind that Georgetown is the tops as far as getting into the State Deptartment set up

Va, WmMAry, MAryland are all state schools and Va has best rep of three, but would depend ion other factos

A young cousin of mine recently graduated from Emory in Int.Relations and was very happy with their programs and the travel/internship opportunities that were available to her.

Well I'm not only asking this question for myself-I just wanted to have a broad view of opinions held upon universities, and I have been following all international realtions threads but mine is a bit different if you have noticed..
