Well, my EC's, grades, and course rigor are all excellent, and I am keeping up just fine. My application is looking great for the Ivies except for one thing: The SAT. I received a 1670 in October. On a good day I would probably make around 1750. I am practicing rigorously every day, is it actually possible for me to improve by ~500 points?

^LOL. I just saw this thread in the HARVARD UNIVERSITY forum.

“No real ‘secrets.’”

There are, but that’s why he says there aren’t.

I think the secret is immense focus and so much practice that the actual test seems short.

the secret is picking up the patterns of the test questions–where to look for the “clues” that lead to your reasoning.
