A HUGE Request on Studying for AP Biology

Hi everyone!
So, I just wanted to start off by thanking everyone for getting me through this year as a high school freshman! Without the support of CC, I couldn't have accomplished as much as I have :)

tl;dr: How do I start studying for the AP Bio exam?

I have my AP Biology Exam in exactly a week from now (5/13), and since I am interested in the biomedical sciences, this is one of the most important exams I will have taken this year! I am motivated and I would really like to get a 5 on this exam, but I don't really know where to start. Our AP Bio teacher gave us the practice test released by College Board with the new format (i.e. conceptual understanding rather than factual recall) and, to be honest, I did terribly... I was extremely disappointed in myself and realized how pretentious I was when I bragged to my friends about how great I was in biology.

Can anyone please suggest how I could prepare for this exam?
I have the following:
- Campbell Biology 9th and 7th edition
- AP Biology- Barron's New Edition
- Cliffnotes- 3rd edition
as well as a few other biology textbooks and study guides...

Thank you so much for reading! :)

Some Background Information:

 • My strengths are ecology, biostatistics, and environmental science
 • My weaknesses are photosynthesis, cell respiration, evolution, animal form/function, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, the laboratory experiments, and more!
 • The courses I have taken/am currently taking include APES, Chem. Honors, and Bio. Honors

If the actual AP test is anything like collegeboard’s only released practice test, I find studying to be pointless, at least in the sense of cramming bio concepts. Know your scientific method. Analyze graphs. Learn to make inferences from data.
