I really really want to go to Yale next year, so please chance me and tell me how i can improve

i really want to major in economics/international studies
I'm fully aware that Yale is the best school for programs like that, and i know that compare to many US applicant, my stats don't stack up that well

but i really want to push myself and see what i can get =)

therefore,
here you go=)

background

gr10 --94
junior 95(probably)
senior prediction: 99 (by the time my midyear report will be typed)

chance me svp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

ur resume owns mine.....

Are you taking the strongest possible curriculum (IB/AP)? I think colleges ought to forgive a C in English first year to a newcomer, but do try to get an A in English next year.

You are an ORM international with pretty average ECs and average SAT scores for Yale. That makes it a big reach.

thx guys

ya i know =(
but i will apply anyway=)

also im taking the normal curriculum, there is no IB/Ap in my school

my C was a 77 in englihs, and B was 83. however, according to my school's grading scale, they are B (77) and A (83)
do i need to convert them to the american scale?

also what do you guys think about the other schools?

thanks~

Read the common data sets and you won't need us. They make clear how many were accepted with your stats. Remember that 60% of students at top schools are hooked, they will have the lowest stats in general. A chinese Intnl who needs aid is probably the hardest admit.'ve just been working with a college counselor in HK with clients lined up to "donate" to get in or who ar sons and daughters of the Country's elite and politicians. I think they make up a lot of the Asian intnls at top colleges. Even need blind schools only accept a few. The unhooked need to be truly exceptional.

i seee
thanks suze
