A little chem help please

Could someone please help me with this question. I'm not trying to mooch, but I'm just not sure.

It's about saturation temperature.
If some water evaporates in the test tube before we measure saturation temperature, would the resulting temperature be too high or too low?

I think it would be too low because evaporation cools it, but I'm not sure.

Can someone please explain. Thanks.

could you just tell me if im correct or not please. thanks.

i think you're right. evaporation is an endothermic process, so it requires the consumption of energy from its surrounding environment, therby lowering the temperature.

ok thanks.
