A little help please?

Hi there, thanks for coming into this thread.
I am an international student, so I am still quite unfamiliar with some things at UCal.
For campus housing, are all applicants required to choose at least 1 theme they would like to get involved? (I made the assumption your campus housing is related to the theme - correct me if I am wrong please)

I'm reluctant to write another essay after applying to so many schools world-wide, are there any ways around it, or is it just basically a compulsory process? Would applying to 1 theme by sufficient - and have a guaranteed admittance? If it cannot be avoided, do you have to spend heaps of time polishing it, or is a standard essay okay?

Thanks again

You don’t have to sign up for a theme if you don’t wanna. I’m not. It’s optional. LOL

Themes are not necessary to obtain housing at Cal. If there is a theme that appeals to you, however, you may as well apply to it. You are very likely to get theme housing if you apply for it.

If you’re not interested, though, don’t worry about it!

Many Thanks!
