a little help please...

hello, i'm hoping some of you may be able to offer me a bit of advice.
i'm entering berkeley as a freshman this fall, thinking about majoring in psychology...i had a question about classes.

do you think it is a bad idea to take ENGLISH R1B--American Short Works (to fulfill the second part R&C) and Comp Lit 41D--Theatres of Cruelty (fulfills A&L breadth) at the same time my first semester??

here's the description for comp lit:
Comparative Literature 41D, Sec. 1

both are four units, but Comp Lit is a seminar course, if that makes any diff (limit 30 people).

I'm also taking NUSCTX 10--Introduction to Human Nutrition (3 units) and PSYCH1--General Psychology (3 units)

14 units total.

so, do you think this is manageable? or should i switch out of the comp lit class? if i did this, idk, i may switch into some sort of native american studies course. i just don't want to get overloaded with reading and i'm worried my schedule isn't balanced enough.
also, a lot of people have said that the english and comp lit classes are harder, so i've become a bit worried.

any advice?

Psych and nutri sci should be fine.

English and Comp lit could be a lot of reading. Try it out.

I don’t know much about the prof for psych 1 this semester but the one for spring, Shimamura, is really easy. Offers lots of extra credit, lists of topics for exams to study, MC exams.
