Im looking for good schools to go to...that have a pretty campus + good weather+ top rank. ( Nothing in NY, Im tired of big cities )

How is Georgetown to start off?

How is Georgetown to start off?

Duke, Davidson, North Carolina, virginia, Vanderbilt, Rice, Wake Forest, William and Mary.

The southeast is perfect for you.

The above list is a good start, but if you're sick of the city, you'd probably want to eliminate Rice and Vanderbilt. And Georgetown wouldn't be any good either - DC is intense and very urban.

Places like Duke, Davidson, Virginia, and Wake Forest would be good though. And I'll also add to the list Elon and UGA.

California would work too...try Stanford and Santa Clara. The San Jose area is very relaxed.

Emory, maybe? I don't know too much about it, but it sounds like it fits...

washington & lee if you are interested in LACs

UT Austin?

UT Austin has an urban campus though...

Cornell, but it has the highest suicide rate (don't know if that's a myth or not)

Vish- Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a myth.

Vish, Cornell doesn't have that great of weather. Too much snow in upstate NY.

Austin isn't horrible, horrible though. Yeah, it's in a big city but I don't think you can compare Austin to New York.

yeah I visited San Jose and its the best, Santa Clara is also great but not top rank

Stanford is in palo alto--uggh
and I just can't help not liking it as every geek in my old school dreamed of going there and I'd rather a mix of people
