I am visiting Furman for the first time, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or reccomendations of things to-do, things not-to-miss, things that I should look into, things that I should steer clear of when I am on campus, etc. Anything that anyone can tell me would be a tremdous help.
I appreciate it.

It'll be the prettiest campus you've ever seen. Don't miss downtown Greenville. Place has a lot going for it. Check the Library out, 2nd to none.

attend a lecture from a faculty member and notice that he or she knows every student by name. Look at the plans for the new state of the art biology and chemistry building, and take a walk around the lake.
Go have dinner in the Travelers Inn Restaurant just north of there. Take a look at the extensive volunteer placements in the Heller Service Corps, and ask people about foreign study and where kids ended up on grad school last year.

make sure you go on a nice day, so you can make sure not only does the teacher know every student by name, but he/she takes them outside for class on the beautiful furman campus. a value cannot be put on such an experience.
