A little song to pass the time...

And, speaking of 'Into the Woods", how about "No One is Alone"?

Singalong Mom....No One Is Alone was mentioned on my list. I agree...good one for the "support group" on CC! :)

Yes, Soozievt, my S is in the production of merrilly from Brown-can't wait to go see it as I am looking forward to seeing the show and my Son (haven't seen him since we brought him back to school for his second semester in Jan). I hear it is going well. And he was also in the finale at Stagedoor Manor's cabaret show and when that last note was sung (from Our Time) everyone held up a picture of themselves as a toddler, I couldn't even see straight-the tears were rolling! Great memories.

Soozie, heard from my friend Linda today and she was talking to Jed this week. He's in the production of Merrily at Brown and was in the city today for an important audition. I hope it went well! Are you going to see the show?

AlwaysaMom....I knew Jed was in Merrily along with Audi's talented son (Audi, I spoke to your son online recently from college!...he and my D at Brown finally met...they were both recently selected as tour guides...and your son performed at Smith when my NYU D should have also been performing but had to miss going with her group as she was in dress rehearsal that day for another show...she missed seeing him and Jed....but a week later, her a capella group won first place in the Northeast Quaterfinals...yay).....but back to Merrily....no, I won't be seeing Merrily unfortunately.....I have all I can do to juggle attending both my own girls' events all over the map as I have been doing a lot lately and will be doing in the coming weeks and months, pretty much weekly. I have a great deal of travel going on! (in fact, I have been regrettably remiss on personal email....VERY sorry....not forgotten....but haven't been able to keep up with it with travel and all...no internet when I travel...and prioritizing my work emails when home). I think my older D is working on sets for Merrily...not sure in which capacity but she is taking a related course currently. I hope Jed did well in his audition, whatever it was for. I hope Linda's brother is recovering well. Rumors were that Sondheim might show up at Brown for Merrily. Have no clue if true. Audi...I am sure when your son and Jed have to sing Our Time in Merrily, their minds will go to the years of singing it in Our Time Cabaret ! "It's our time, breathe it in....." :)

thanks for your kind words Soozie. My son did tell me you spoke and he updated you a little. Yes, rumor has it that Sondheim may be making an appearance at the show-that would be exciting. And yes Jed has been in NYC alot lately-many callbacks for Ave Q-so wish him luck. My son says he is so talented and such a nice guy...so I like when good things happen to good people. My son loves that he is back in the acappella group but I suppose if Ave Q comes through, he may take another leave from Brown.

wow i guess thx for the songs........

And now for those with rejections, Anything from "les Miserables"?
How about Beggars at the Feast? Too dark,hmmm,...Castle in the Cloud?
too syrupy, hmmmm... (lol)
Someone else take a whack at it(lol). Excuse my humor if I have offended, it can be a little dark at times!
