A Little Worried About My GPA

I'm a junior in high school and I am currently worried about the GPA I have. My sophomore and freshman year grades combined is an 81.7 GPA( which is I think, a 2.77 GPA) unweighted and a 3.0 GPA weighted. However I am an active participant of the drama club, the french club, anime club and the school tutorial program as a volunteer tutor. I do community service at the local soup kitchen. I also had honors english and science, so will colleges look at that more or is my GPA the end of me?

Depends on aspirations. Students with 3.0 weighted GPAs can get into a lot of colleges; it is just highly unlikely they will get into those which are high ranked regardless of those other activities.

Thank you. I’m considering Marist, Fairfield University, Boston University(I’m thinking that it might be a reach), SUNY Buffalo, and UMass-Amherst(I think that might be another reach). However, I might not have a set list of colleges until the end of my junior year, if my GPA improves.

Any advice?
