So i've been going around the forums for quite a bit now... and now since ive actually registered i really want to know what my chances are at UCI... I applied under the Ecology and Evol Biology... My stats : ACT 26 Comp (29 Math. 27 Reading. 26. Science 22 English and 11 Writing or English/Writing 25). I have around 250+ hours community service.... and I some ECs... and i have a job where i work 25 hrs every week... Other than that my weighted gpa is a 3.98 that's fully weighted my UC GPA is like 3.67... Im currently taking AP BIO, AP CALC BC, AP GOV/ECON and CP English 4 and Art.... my class rank is like 65/700 so around top 10%.... My SAT 2s : 610 MATH 2 and 620 US Hist....I know they are bad compared to almost everyone else in the forum... my SAT I's if u must know is a 1790 (630 Reading 620 Math and 540 English). I know they bad scores... =( My essays I think are quite decent..... So what do u think my chances are?? Please dont kill me... although honesty is the best policy... =(

i would honestly say that you have a very good chance of getting in

Your SAT score is on par with the range of SAT scores that accepted applicants had for Fall 2008. However, your GPA is low compared to the average GPA of 3.94.

I would say you have a moderate chance, although that's without factoring in the 12% admission rate cut (about 500 students).

^^ same as above. I give it a slight reach

Oh okay, thanks for the reply guys.. isnt my ACT score a little better than my SAT score? will that help at all? And also if i've taken mostly AP classes does that get taken into account during the admissions process? Cause basically the only B's I get are from AP classes... thanks...
