<p>I submitted the ED online part of my application two months before the deadline... I received an e-mail confirmation that NYU has received the online part of it. I sent supplementary materials (transcript, teacher rec., test scores, etc.) through the mail soon after. I haven't heard yet from NYU whether everything arrived or whether anything is missing. The last e-mail I received stated that soon a confirmation would come through the mail, but I haven't gotten that yet. Should I be worried? I'm wondering if anything else who's applied online has received a confirmation through the MAIL yet. I know the Nov. 1 deadline just passed, so maybe it's early yet. </p>
<p>I submitted my online application for ED around September 30. Soon after, I mailed in my recs and transcripts. I got the same e-mail from NYU saying that they got the online one and that I would soon be receiving the written letter for me to confirm the information, and for them to tell me if there is any other information they need.
I haven't received anything else yet, either.
I'm guessing when they said "you will be receiving the mail soon" that meant after the November 1st deadline....?

<p>Thanks for posting... hopefully NYU does mean "soon" after Nov. 1. I'm glad I'm not the only ED applicant who hasn't received a written confirmation yet. I'll be watching my mail closely for the next couple weeks.</p>
