Right now, I have 2 D's on my transcript, they are in French. My gpa is between 2.7-2.9 and i'm applying to schools in that range.

Will those D's completely disqualify me? I know it matters, but does it mean an auto reject?

Thanks

oops, I meant to post in college admissions. Can someone move it?

It depends, what schools do you plan on applying to?

Suffolk, UMass boston, Eugene Lang(NYC), Hartwick and looking for some others.

As long as you're not majoring in French you should be okay for those schools.

hahaha oh yeah, I am definitely not. Thanks.

You're not screwed. I'm in a similar situation (3 D's, 2.99 GPA), and I'm pretty sure I'll get into some somewhat decent places such as IU-Bloomington and U of Iowa.

Just make it clear that you're not going into French.

I hate spanish. I wish I took french

It is a nice language, I just didn't do my homework...go me.

Silent21, it looks like your on track to get into college but I am kind of bewildered...

Do you know homework is the easiest way to boost your grade? In college you won't ever have an opportunity to easily boost your grade with homework? You should/should have taken advantage of it.
