What are the pros and cons of each program, and the respective universities on the whole? I'm impressed with the smaller class sizes, recruitment opportunities, and early registration for classes in A&M business honors. But, I think there would be a lot more to do in Austin than College Station. Both have 100% job placement/grad school admission rates at graduation, so what other factors do y'all think I should consider?

As a UT grad - I would encourage you to go to A&M. There is not a big difference between the two schools ( for a difference go to Rice or Trinity). UT is living off its reputation and the fact it is in Austin, A&M actually cares about its students, and in general the A&M students are hard working. Bottom line is that neither school is that different, and what matters is where you feel comfortable.

Wow, I really appreciate the honesty, Canuckhorn! When you say you’re a UT grad, do you mean as a Mccombs student, or just the university in general?

McCombs - but many years ago. I think both UT and A&M are good schools when you consider how much they cost. If you are the type of person who can learn in large lecture halls then these schools may be quite good. I was the type of student who did much better in small classes centered around discussions - not UT’s strength.
