Hi, I am an auto admit to A&M and submitted my app the day it opened, when should I hear from admissions? I just would like to confirm a spot in the business school.
@bcp119 Auto/Academic admits should begin receiving their admissions decisions around mid September. The past 3 years, it has been around September 19-21.
Mays takes 1000 freshman, so if you want to assure your spot in Mays, you will need to accept your admissions decision as soon as you get it. Mays fills up its spots by mid fall.
Make sure you apply for housing within 30 days of accepting admissions.
After you apply for housing, but later change your mind about living on campus, make sure you cancel the housing contract by May 1 or you will be dinged on your student account. If you wait until those statements come out in the fall, that could mean $1000 you owe for not cancelling and holding up a room from someone else.
