<p>Ok so I submitted one of my essays online Saturday they still haven't received it, is anyone else in this boat...was there an extension to the deadline?</p>

<p>It says "Due to technical difficulties experienced earlier in the admission cycle with the state electronic transcript system, TREx, Texas A&M is extending the deadline for freshmen applicants to complete their admission file. All supporting credentials MUST BE RECEIVED (not postmarked) by Texas A&M by Sunday, December 8, 2013. Documents may also be uploaded directly to the Applicant Information System (AIS) until 12 Midnight CST Sunday, December 8, 2013.</p>
<p>Please note: Extension is only applicable to freshmen applicants who have submitted an admissions application by the December 2 deadline and is for admission purposes only; the deadline to complete a file for scholarship consideration remains December 2nd."</p>
