Okay so I'm going to blinn college in fall, and I'm wanting to transfer to a&m as quickly as possible. I want to major in business, im only taking core classes at the moment. But I was wondering if I don't meet the mays business transfer standards, if I could transfer in as a different major and switch easily? Or would that not be possible? Or agbusiness is also an option correct? I just want to know my chances of switching after 1 year, and the best way of doing this. Thank you.

Also I was wondering how the application would work, if I try transferring after just 1 year, because their deadline for applications falls before I would finish my second semester. And should I/would I be able to retake the SAT or maybe the ACT? Would that affect anything?

Howdy,
I am an engineering student so i ll say what my perpective is. Students can get into comp engineering and transfer to another engineering after 1st or 2nd semester there, it is fairly easy if you have ggood grades. Similar should be the situation in Businees schooll (Educated Guess). But you do have to be admitted to one of the not so popular major in business school and if you get admitted for different major than business…it will be harder to get in.

About SAT’s as a transfer student your SAT Scores do not matter now. so no use retaking it. What matters is what courses you have finished and your grade. you have a better chances of getting in if you finish
Base courses in blinn ie. 2 years there, than applying after just 1 year.

Best of luck
