<p>Has anyone here chosen A&M over UT CAP? If so are you glad you did? What factors did you consider in chosing A&M over UT CAP.</p>
<p>I got Cap’d by UT and I ended up choosing A&M. As a matter of fact, I have already accepted their admission offer. When I saw that I was CAP’ed I was more relieved that anything really. I knew that my parents and friends would push me to go to UT and I eventually would have. I wasn’t going to be happy going there. I’ve visited the school many times and I just don’t feel comfortable in its atmosphere. I find all the cars, traffic, and downtown in general too overwhelming for me. A&M will offer just as good of an education as UT will. They’re both two of the top schools in Texas and you just have to go where you feel most comfortable and happy for the next 4 years. :)</p>

<p>I chose A&M over UT CAP. I’d just rather go to A&M and transfer to UT later if I don’t like it, rather than doing UT’s CAP thingy.</p>
