trying to decide on a school and am stuck between A&M and OU. I plan to study biology, and both schools have a good program and are appealing for different reasons. My older cousin currently goes to OU and i have ben there to visit him and I love the campus, Its absolutely goregous i also really like most of the people i met there and the flow of things. His younger sister, is my age and is planning to go there so if i went it would be nice because we would be able to room together and help each other with the transistion and what not. I have lived with her before and know we would get along fine, i love her to death, shes like a sister to me. on the other hand, the culture of A&M also seems very nice to me. My dad was an aggie and so i have grown up in an aggie house, and i know i would like it there if i went there... i am very much stuck so i thought i would get a few outside opinions. thanks for the help...

The whole A&M spirit is just ridiculous, it annoys the hell out of me

Well..my best friend graduated from A&M, he said he liked it but that he thought it was overrated....he said he felt like classes weren't personal and many were too large...he always felt like he didn't actually "learn" much while he was there...

But that's only one opinion, I'm sure you can find 100 opinions and everyone will have something different to say.. A&M certainly has school spirit and the social atmosphere is good..so I guess it depends on what you want out of your school experience.. don't know anything about OU so I can't help you there....good luck

I have a friend at A&M and she loves it a lot, the Aggie spirit is certainly prevalent, but I'm sure (I wouldn't know...) that OU has great spirit too.

But it shouldn't be all about spirit.. go with your gut, you seem to be leaning toward OU based on your post. Don't feel like you should go to A&M because of your dad (except if you really want to!)

And if you get to a point where you can't decide, go with the cheaper one (Do you live in Texas?).

I know, I was so helpful.
