A&M vs. SMU: Engineering - HELP!

^Btw, the 3 credit hours he would get from the 3 required Honors Engineering seminars (1 credit hour each) would also count towards the 18 credit hours required. So in the scenario I just gave, 12-14 honors credit hours would be accounted for, and he would need just 4-6 more to graduate with the Engineering Honors distinction. Get it?

SimpleLife thanks so much for the clarification, that certainly sounds like something he would like to do. I believe the deadline to apply is the end of this month…

UPDATE: I officially chose A&M over SMU, turning down the Hunt Scholarship at SMU. I visited A&M, and felt that I could grow just as much there as I could at SMU. The kids were similar to me and very driven.

I’m happy for you, pmcneely1. I know you had a hard choice on your hands, and I’m confident that you chose well for yourself. Nice work. Enjoy yourself in the fall, and best of luck to you! :)

Gig 'em!!! Have a great fall!
