A Message from New Student Orientation 2005

I got an email earlier today from an incoming student about this forum. I’m so glad that you are taking the opportunity to discuss Brandeis and learn about what it is all about before applying or arriving at our campus.

I am the Chair of New Student Orientation 2005, a Junior, a major in Politics and Computer Science with minors in Theater Arts and Legal Studies. I’m originally from the island state of Hawai’i, and travelled 5,012 miles to attend Brandeis University. Brandeis was my first choice and every day since arriving on campus I have been reminded why.

I, along with four other members of the 2005 Orientation Core Committee, will be planning events for August Orientation to help acclimate New Students to the Brandeis environment. In a few weeks our website will be online at http://www.brandeis.edu/orientation. It will have information about the Orientation program, Brandeis in general, and the offices and departments that students may need to be contacting in the coming months.

If you have any additional questions please contact us at orientation -at- brandeis -dot- edu.

We’ll see you in August!

Sincerely,

Joshua Simmons
