A minute of your time...

I posted this before but thought I would update some of my testing. I need some advice. I just completed my junior year in high school. I am currently ranked No.1 in my class of about 180 students. I am taking the most advanced classes offered at my school which entails Pre-AP English, AP History, and I am enrolled in the Honors Math Program. I am very active in extracurricular activities. I am in the drama club, choir, swing choir, and was selected for the all-county music festival. I ran track for a year and cross county for 3 years. I volunteer at a local hospital and I play an avid role in my church community.

But these are my test grades:

Biology Regents - 86
Earth Science Regents - 92
Chemistry Regents - 88
Math A Regents - 97
Math B Regents - 90
French Regents - 98
European History - 92
U.S. History - 98
SAT Math - 670
SAT Verbal - 580 -----I plan to retake the SATs in the Fall of 2006.
SAT Writing - 570

I also might add that I am an Asian American.

What are my chances of being admitted into Cornell?
And are Syracuse University and the University of Rochester reasonable back-up schools?

If you can get your SATs up to 2100-2200 or so, you'll be in much better shape.

Cornell almost no chance. Not good enough stats and PLENTY of Asian Americans apply to Cornell.

Syracuse would be a safety-match, U of R a match.
